Michele Gortney is a wonderful and outstanding therapist who works with children, adolescents, and adults at Rabjohn Behavioral Institute, PLLC. She has extensive experience working with families impacted by multigenerational mental illness and excels in therapy with families experiencing parent-child attachment issues.
Ms. Gortney has worked previously as an early childhood intervention counselor at MHMR of Tarrant and Denton County and for the last nine years has primarily worked in Burleson at her own private practice, Gortney Counseling. With 15+ years of experience, we are excited to welcome her to our outstanding team.
When she is not at work, Michele and her husband can be found at the soccer fields watching their twin daughters dominate games for their clubs and high school. Her oldest daughter is currently in college and they enjoy traveling, personal fitness, and living out in the country.
